John Elkins - Managing Editor Gas Matters and Editor Gas Matters Today
John spent thirty years with British Gas in a variety of central planning activities. He was closely involved with UK supply/demand forecasting and associated planning issues, and was part of the British Gas team set up to market gas through the Interconnector to the Continent. John is a specialist in peak demand and supply analysis and forecasting. He joined EconoMatters as a Consultant in 1996 and has worked on a number of projects since then. Recently he has concentrated on journalism and training courses. He is the Managing Editor of Gas Matters and Editor of Gas Matters Today. John is also Course Director of the Alphatania course "The Gas Chain".
