CRISIL Grading Symbols For Maritime Training Course
The grading of a maritime training course expresses an opinion on the extent to which the individual course offering in maritime education meets the desired course objectives as stated by the Directorate General of Shipping (DGS) from time to time in its capacity as the regulator of maritime education in India.
Grade 1: The quality of education imparted by the graded course at the institute with respect to the course objectives as stated by DGS is outstanding.
Grade 2: The quality of education imparted by the graded course at the institute with respect to the course objectives as stated by DGS is very good.
Grade 3: The quality of education imparted by the graded course at the institute with respect to the course objectives as stated by DGS is good.
Grade 4: The quality of education imparted by the graded course at the institute with respect to the course objectives as stated by DGS is satisfactory.
Grade 5: The quality of education imparted by the graded course at the institute with respect to the course objectives as stated by DGS is poor.
